Illustrator - Vicki Knoll

Vicki Knoll was born in Waco, Texas. Her family moved to Denton, Texas when she was four years old. She spent her childhood just like any other child. She loved to roller skate up and down the sidewalk in front of her house, loved to walk to the neighborhood movie theater and spent almost every weekend with her friends. What she was most passionate about, however, was drawing. She would draw whatever she saw, the Victorian house she grew up in, her parent's cars, the neighbor's cars, her parents, her brothers, you name it, she drew it.
Vicki earned an Associates degree in Commercial Art and Advertising in Waco, Texas. After college, she became the art director for a national financial magazine in Dallas, Texas.
Vicki has had her art in galleries throughout the Southwest. She has won numerous awards for her artwork. Vicki lives beautiful Colorado with her husband, Eldon.
Vicki has worked with a variety of mediums, such as oils, pastels, watercolor and acrylics, but her favorite mediums are colored pencil and graphite pencils. She feels that she has more control and can accomplish minuscule details, which can bring out the realism in her drawings. She hand draws every illustration and does not use any kind of computerized enhancements. She specializes in custom illustrations featuring people and pets, but there is nothing that she cannot draw. Don't believe me? Find out for yourself and submit a picture for her to draw. Vicki will capture the beauty and soul from your favorite photographs. You will have an original piece of art that you can treasure forever.
